FAQ: FAQ

WHAT IS CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, the main compound found in the hemp plant. This is the source of CBD’s popularity, the ability to provide some of marijuana’s therapeutic effects without the high.

WHAT IS HEMP?

Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa L plant and refers to the non-intoxicating (less than 0.3% THC) strains. Hemp and marijuana come from the same cannabis species but have different genetics and cannabinoid profiles, with hemp rich in cannabidiol or CBD and marijuana producing mostly psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol or THC.

HOW DOES CBD WORK?

CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system mainly by inhibiting breakdown of anandamide, it’s therapeutic potential extends to many biological processes within our bodies. Research suggests that CBD may be useful for anxiety, pain, sleep, epilepsy, hormonal balance, inflammation, neurological disorders, bacteria and much more.

WILL CBD MAKE ME HIGH?

CBD is not psychoactive, so it does not change a person’s state of mind when they use it.
CBD will not make you feel high or intoxicated. Although it is extracted from the Cannabis sativa plant, cannabidiol doesn’t have the same psychoactive properties as THC, the main active phytocannabinoid in marijuana.

DOES CBD OIL HAVE THC?

CBD oil made from full spectrum hemp extracts typically has very small amounts of THC (less than 0.3%). CBD products must contain less than 0.3% THC to be federally legal. This amount of THC is not enough to have intoxicating effects or make you feel high. CBD oil made with a CBD isolate will not contain any THC. We recommend checking a product’s lab analysis for exact THC potency.

HOW MUCH CBD OIL SHOULD I TAKE?

Dosing is highly dependent on each individual and if you are new to CBD we recommend starting with a low dose, around ½ dropper once a day and increase from there until you find a dose that you are seeing results from.  Low doses tend to act as a stimulant, exerting effects such as increased mental alertness and focus. In higher doses, CBD has sedative effects, giving it the potential to help alleviate stress, anxiety, and sleeping problems. Some effects may be acute while others can take up to 30 days.

IS CBD THE ONLY CANNABINOID IN THE HEMP PLANT?

No, CBD is one of many in the plant but it currently is the most well know and researched for its benefits

DOES CBD HELP WITH ANXIETY?

Research has shown that CBD may help alleviate anxiety. Evidence from both animal and human studies has shown that cannabidiol may exert a broad range of anxiolytic effects on the body by interacting with several receptors known to regulate fear and anxiety-related behaviors. Some research shows that CBD may significantly decrease subjective anxiety and increase mental sedation by changing activity of brain regions that normally mediate anxiety.

HOW DO I TAKE IT?

CBD tincture is easy to use by placing drops under the tongue, hold for 60 seconds then swallow.

WHEN SHOULD I TAKE IT?

The best time will differ from person to person. Some like to take it once a day and others twice. Also, some like to take it morning or night or both. Its best to try different times and see what works best for you.

WHAT IS CBD TINCTURE?

Tincture is a liquid-based product you take orally. It contains full spectrum hemp extract and MCT oil(coconut).

WHAT IS THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM?

Our bodies have an Endocannabinoid System that produces its own natural cannabinoids. This system is involved in regulating various processes such as pain, memory, mood, immunity, and stress. Supplementing with CBD helps to support our bodies Endocannabinoid System.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 750MG AND 1500MG BOTTLES?

Both bottles are the same 1oz size. It is the amount of CBD that is within them. Everyone’s dose is different so we offer different strengths. You can start with the 750mg bottle and if you aren’t seeing results with a dropper a day then we suggest going with the 1500mg bottle.
